Tablets are all the rage this year, everyone is getting in the game. You have the BlackBerry PlayBook, Motorola Xoom, HP Slate and even Sony are getting in the game. We love our iPad’s but we couldn’t help but check out the PlayBook, what with the free PlayBook for developers offer!

So without further ado Ironshod are excited to announce Defense Station for the BlackBerry Playbook! Get it while it’s on special @ 99c!

In porting Defense Station from the iPhone we took the chance to do all the things we couldn’t when restricted to the iPhone’s smaller screen. The most notable improvement is the new UI. The luxury of having more pixels is amazing! We were also able to have the whole map on the screen without the need to scroll.

It’s been balls to the wall the last month with the forming of Ironshod, polishing off our first release and getting the website ready.

We’re really excited about entering the fray with Defense Station Touchable, we know you will like it as much as we do! Try out the PC version available for windows, linux and soon on the mac. DST is available on the iTunes app store so you can get your fix where ever you are.

Our future games design document is getting far too large for comfort so we’re going to have to pull finger and get it done. We hope to quickly release our next game so stick around, bookmark our blog, we are not going anywhere.
